For Wisconsin towns
Your town's official .gov domain and email, handled start to finish.
Wisconsin towns can get a free wi.gov address from the state, but the state doesn't provide the technical help. We file the request, set up secure town email on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and connect your website, all for one flat price.

The Wisconsin package
Everything your town needs to be official online
We do the paperwork and the technical work, so your clerk doesn't have to become an IT department.
wi.gov domain claim
We prepare your authorization letter and technical form, file your claim with the state, and follow every ticket through to the end.
Official town email
Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 with up to 5 role-based mailboxes like clerk@ and treasurer@. We move your old email over.
DNS and email security
SPF, DKIM and DMARC records generated and checked, plus anti-spoofing protection from day one, so no one can send mail as your town.
How it works
Four steps, and we handle most of them
Your clerk spends a few minutes online. We do the rest.
Claim your name
Your clerk claims your town's name on your town's page in about two minutes.
Chair signs, town pays
Your town board chair signs the request letter from any phone or computer. We email an invoice, payable by card or check.
We file with the state
Once you've paid, we file your claim with the state and handle every follow-up until it's done.
Website and email go live
We connect your website and set up your email, then hand you a one-page guide.
Pricing
One package. No tiers, no surprises.
The wi.gov domain itself is free from the state. The $495 is for our service: the paperwork and the technical setup.
Domain + email package
$495
flat, one time, email included
Same price if your town's first-choice name is taken and we request it with your county added (townofunionburnett.wi.gov).

Why now
Why Wisconsin towns are moving to .gov
The Wisconsin Elections Commission recommends that all municipalities use a .gov or wi.gov email address, and warns against free email services.
SourceWEC has said: “All WisVote users will eventually be required to have a .gov domain for official email communications.” WEC also says: “There is not yet a set date for this change.”
SourceThe state provides wi.gov domains at no cost, but says “Jurisdictions must obtain their own IT support.”
